With 2,671.6 square feet of bright and airy ‘beachy meets boho’ living space plus covered garage, this spacious condo is perfect for families or friends who want to enjoy a Mexico retreat. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable living room with a 55-inch flat-screen with hundreds of Direct TV channels, a large dining area, and a well-appointed kitchen that comes fully equipped with all essential cooking appliances, including dishwasher and filtered water. The condo has reliable, high-speed Wifi and the bedrooms and bathrooms are fully equipped (bed linens, bath towels, toiletries). A washer and dryer are also provided for your laundry needs.

The condo is well equipped to ensure that you will have a great time; it has a Bluetooth UE Boom 2 speaker, binoculars, and numerous games. In addition, guests can use the tennis rackets and tennis balls located in the condo and can use the stand-up paddleboard (SUP), kayak, and surfboards located in the garage.

At the end of an eventful day spent in the sand and surf, you’ll be happy to enjoy the inviting and restful sleeping areas. The huge master bedroom offers a stunning ocean view, a sitting area with couch and coffee table, queen-sized bed, 55-inch flat-screen with hundreds of Direct TV channels, and ensuite bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. The comfortable second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and ensuite bathroom, along with a flat-screen TV. Finally, the den is a cozy place to chill and lounge, especially in the rattan hanging chair.

Perhaps the best part of the condo-the deck with endless ocean views. Enjoy your coffee while sitting in the two reclining chaise lounge chairs or enjoy a meal while sitting at the table.
Guests have access to everything on Club Marena grounds, including south-facing pool, hot tub, and tennis courts, with the exception of the north-facing pool/hot tub which is restricted to only owners and long term tenants. Guests enjoy a private beach, a clubhouse with ping pong and pool tables, and plenty of exploring around the tide pools out front.

Safety First

Ideal MicroClimateThose that live in Southern California will know that a thick marine layer can be present in the mornings of some months and can often persist all day. While this phenomenon is present throughout most of the west coast, Club Marena is special in that it sits in a micro-climate. The marine layer makes a straight line across the bay from Calafia Point down to Primo Tapia. Club Marena is tucked inside this greater bay which ensures more sunny days. The condo is also protected from the northerly winds by the Calafia point, which is unique to coastal properties.

Surfer’s Dream
The K38.5 surf break that is located at Club Marena and that is visible off the condo deck is a 150-300m right point break into a protected bay (there is also a shorter 50-100m punchier left into the same bay). While more southerly facing, K38.5 picks up all swell directions, including Southern swells from Antarctica/New Zealand in our summer and NW swells in our winter. The waves are uncrowded since the only feasible access point is for those staying at Club Marena. The inside section is also great for beginner surfers. The world-famous K38 break is located immediately northeast of the condo and is visible from the den and front porch.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry
Most know that Baja California is the land of some of the best taco stands in the world, including those located within walking distance from the condo. The towns along the coast have also been long known for delicious and affordable grilled local lobster, like that found in Puerto Nuevo which is a 5-minute drive away. In addition to these Baja food staples, Rosarito and Ensenada have also joined the farm-to-table movement, which provides some additional exciting dining opportunities for visitors. From fine dining to dive bars, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Foodies will especially appreciate restaurants Deckman’s and Finca Altozano in the Valle de Guadalupe, run by Michelin star chefs Drew Deckman and Javier Plascencia, as well as the stunning atmosphere of Cuatro Cuatros.

In addition to enjoying wine tasting in the beautiful Valle de Guadalupe, guests are enjoying the up and coming craft beer scene at awarding-winning breweries such as Agua Mala and Wendlandt.
Finally, live music is a staple in this Baja community. Talented bands play nightly at local restaurants nearby and no trip to Rosarito is complete without visiting Charly’s Place for some entertaining karaoke.
